Intelligent 3D Navigation
Whether you're working on large assembly or focusing on intricate part details, the 3D mouse automatically follows your point of interest to continuously determine the optimal center of rotation. In addition, the center of rotation is visualized (optional) giving a reference point as you position the model. It feels natural so you stay focused.
Easier access to application functions
With the Intelligent Function Keys* on SpaceExplorer, SpaceMouse Pro or SpacePilot Pro you can quickly access any SolidWorks function/macro. Get visual feedback on the SpacePilot Pro LCD and watch functions update automatically as you move from one application environment to another. Personalize the function keys quickly and easily inside any environment such as Part, Assembly, Drawing and more.
Unleash Hidden Power
Zoom to Cursor (Fast Zoom) by holding the middle button on your traditional mouse while pushing down on the 3D mouse controller cap. Set Rotational Center by selecting any face or vertex, or Set Rotational Axis by selecting any line or edge.
Sketch Mode
Sketch or edit a sketch with a traditional mouse while effortlessly positioning the work plane and inspecting the sketch from multiple directions with the 3D mouse. Execute functions such as Normal To, Mirror Entities and more with a single click of the Intelligent Function Keys. Quickly toggle rotation on and off with the Rotation key.
Part Modeling Mode
Smoothly view a model from several different angles while simultaneously adding or adjusting features with a traditional mouse. Access functions like Shift, Ctrl, Esc, Zoom to Fit, Chamfer and Fillet with a single press of the Intelligent Function or Keyboard Modifier keys*.
Assembly Mode
Build assemblies faster by placing components while simultaneously positioning the assembly to the best angle. Move existing components with ease to get the optimum viewing angle for mating component faces. Use the Intelligent Function Keys to instantly access functions like Insert Component, Mate, Move Component and Exploded View.
Drawing Mode
Position the entire drawing sheet while creating and placing drawing views, dimensions and annotations. Get rapid access to Zoom to Fit, Measure, Center Mark and all other drawing mode functions.
